Day 1 - Trekking + Khmu villages + Waterfall + Kayaking

Our trip start walking down the river then starts with a bout up num ou river about 50 minutes. On your ride you will see the unique river and limestone scenery of the Nam Ou river with its local river life. Then you will visit the village Ban Houy Hoiy. The English speaking guide will explain you about the traditional life of the Lao tribe and how this village have been thriving on the Nam Ou river for many generations.
After another 10 minutes boat ride you will reach Ban Sop Kong, a traditional Khmu village. The guide will show you how different the two villages are from each other. From here you will trek through typical rice paddies about 1h30min until you will reach the waterfall. Reward yourself here with a swim in the waterfall and a Lao picnic lunch!
Activate now your arm muscles: You will kayak downstream on the Nam Ou River and see the local river life with people fishing, children swimming, pig and water buffalo sunbathing… Stop whenever you want or just hop on the boat to rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery of your adventure until you arrive back in Nong Khiaw. (This trip can start 12:00 noon time finish 4-5 pm) rush tour and start from LuangPrabang
